Kathy Woods, MSN, APRN, is a highly experienced nurse specializing in wound care at Honeycomb Medical Group in Memphis, Tennessee, Holly Springs, Mississippi, and Little Rock, Arkansas. With over 30 years of nursing experience, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with complex wound needs and chronic conditions.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Throughout her career, Kathy has gained extensive expertise in wound care, HIV/AIDS treatment, and chronic disease management through her work in various settings, including ambulatory clinics, acute care hospitals, and specialty hospitals.
Kathy has experience providing direct primary care to underserved populations, focusing on wound care and managing acute and chronic conditions. Her previous experience as a house supervisor and ICU charge nurse at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital and UAMS, respectively, has given her strong clinical skills in wound management, ventilator weaning, and infection control.
